Our flagship FAME Mushroom Grow Kit, FAME standing for “Fully Automated Mushroom Ecosystem,” is a multi-functional ecosystem that can be used to fruit all sorts of medicinal, edible and gourmet mushrooms. Paired with one of our mushroom incubators, or better known “MycoINCUBATORS™,” and one of our mushroom dryers, better known as “MycoDRYER™,” you are in for a true set and forget mushroom growing experience. With the FAME Mushroom Grow Kit there are no more worries about fanning 1-2 times a day during fruiting stage. Our automated fanning system takes care of that for you 8 times a day. Lighting, humidity, and temperature are digitally controlled with this fully automated system. Ventilation

Our ventilation system connects to a digital timer with 10 programmable time slots to set your fan to vent out your FAME Kit down to the minute. We pre-program it to run 8 times a day, every 3 hours, for 3 minutes. This allows your system to remove stagnate air and exchange the built up Co2, produced by the mushrooms, for fresh oxygen. Automating this process makes fanning your mushroom grow kit a task of the past!

Mushrooms grow when the lights are on and off, so they are always growing, unlike plants. This means that oxygen is vital to their growth always. Not only when you have time for them, and not only once a day as most kit makers will tell you. We rectify this by venting 8 times a day. Fanning is ideal for oxygen exchange in a normal system but can only be done so often when you are trying to keep your humidity up and requires you to be present. With our system the automated humidity system takes care of regulating humidity after each automatic fanning and any other time the humidity falls below your set perimeters.

Critical steps to success

Preparation: Follow all sterilization steps used in any other kits. While our kits are ideal for fruiting a fully colonized substrate it still has an opening where the fan is connected and the fan should be unplugged during any colonizing. Proper sterilization techniques are always best for best possible chance of fighting any contamination.
