This replacement coarse thread bath tub strainer trim kit features a flat floating mushroom tip toe mechanism that provides a positive closure to bath tubs using either of the two most common threads, 1-1/2 NPSM or 1-3/8 NPSM. The supplied fine thread to coarse thread bushing is used for coarse thread shoes and omitted for fine thread shoes. Press the oversized mushroom cap to open the drain, then press again to seal it.
