Wood Lovr is a sterile hardwood-based bulk mushroom substrate formulated by mycologists for growing wood-loving species.

Using Your Wood Lovr

We recommended 1 lb of colonized grain spawn for every 5 lbs of Wood Lovr sterile substrate. (Higher inoculation rates may improve your success.)Use clean hands, latex gloves, and sterile technique when using Wood Lovr to reduce the introduction of contaminants.Be sure to mix colonized grain spawn thoroughly into your substrate.It is best practice to wait a minimum of 1 week after arrival before using sterile substrates to ensure they were not compromised during transit. Wood Lovr should be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration is necessary. They can also be stored for several months before use.

Wood Lovr was developed for growing edible and medicinal hardwood-loving mushroom species. (If growing dung-loving species, use our Boomr Bag sterile substrate instead.)
